LONDON: Today we hosted a live Twitter interview with EU Commissioner for Climate Action, Connie Hedegaard, on @ClimateGroup and #worldulike, to find out more about the EU's climate awareness-raising campaign, A world you like, with a climate you like, which was launched in 2012 in collaboration with more than 160 organizations across Europe.

The campaign seeks to put practical solutions at the center of the climate change debate and demonstrate how climate action can increase welfare and bring economic benefits to European citizens

We asked Connie Hedegaard questions about the contest and then took broader questions from the public for 45 minutes. We received more than 75 questions and trended the hastag #worldulike, based on our related topics. The success of the contest and the Twitter session is further proof that the public dialogue has well and truly shifted. People care about climate solutions. Below is the interview in full.

If you enjoyed the session (or you missed it), join us again on @ClimateGroup this Thursday November 7 at 3pm GMT, when we will be joined by UNFCCC's climate chief, Christiana Figueres. Just use hashtag .
